I recently switched to Mailerlite which I’m loving. It’s intuitive and easy to use. A huge pro is that automations are included on the free plan which is great if you’re just starting out with email marketing. Paid plans are also priced well.

If you’re looking for cheap, basic hosting because you’re just starting out or your site is small, I’ve used these two hosts. They are budget-friendly, being heavily discounted for your first 1-3 years if you pay upfront.

- Lyrical – prices from £13.99/month (approx $19). Set up specifically for bloggers and creative businesses, with great customer service.
